In other words, it is a Neurodevelopmental Disorder in which the patient is not able to communicate fluently or socialize easily. Furthermore, Autism or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) focuses majorly on two areas;<br \/>\n1. Social Communication and Interaction, and,<br \/>\n2. Restricted\/ Repetitive behaviour<\/p>\n<h3>Symptoms<\/h3>\n<p>The symptoms of this disorder can be categorized under the two above mentioned areas;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Social Communication and Interaction<br \/>\n&#8211; Social Reciprocity: It is defined by how much the child responds in social interactions. Also, a child who has ASD prefers to be alone rather than participating in social activities, unlike other children.<br \/>\n&#8211; Joint attention: In this condition, the child doesn\u2019t share his interest\/ excitement about anything with anyone.<br \/>\n&#8211; Non-verbal communication: Under this condition, the child is not able to express his\/ her emotion or interpret others\u2019 feelings through facial expressions or body language.<br \/>\n&#8211; Social relationship: In this condition, the patient is not able to develop or maintain healthy social relationships or tends to drive them away.<br \/>\n&#8211; Restricted\/ Repetitive behaviour: Under this area, the patient repeats specific actions, has fixed routines, talks with selective people and does not like changes around them much.<\/p>\n<h3>Treatment<\/h3>\n<p>The symptoms of ASD could be reduced by various therapies. The therapies used to minimize the offset of AHD are namely;<\/p>\n<p>1. Early Intervention<br \/>\n2. Behavioural Management Therapy<br \/>\n3. Social Skills Training<br \/>\n4. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy<br \/>\n5. Medical Treatment<br \/>\n6. Educational and School-based Therapy<br \/>\n7. Speech-Language Therapy<br \/>\n8. Joint Attention Therapy<br \/>\n9. Physical Therapy<br \/>\n10. Nutritional Therapy<br \/>\n11. Parent-medicated Therapy<br \/>\n12.
